Attached is a flyer of where you can send patietns to get flu shots within our OHT including quick reference for housebound patients and contact info if you have a congregate setting in need of flu shots.

Assessment Centres:

The MSH indoor expansion of the assessment center successfully launched yesterday. It has 10 bays for family physicians and emergency department physicians to provide assessments of patients with acute respiratory illnesses.

If you wish to make a referral to the MSH Assessment Centre, you can fax your referral to 905-472-7142.

If you want to refer your patient to the North Durham Assessment Centre in Port Perry, you can email northdurhamcac@lh.ca.

Please note for both assessment centres, patients must still register online or by phone to book an appointment time.

COVID-19 Family Physician Survey:

Dr. Walsh is conducting a survey assessing the impact of COVID-19 on family practices. The survey takes 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed here: https://dfcmutorontoca.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0vqvh4vq8gt9o8t. Once completed, you have a change to enter to win one of three $150 Visa gift cards.

Virtual Care Feedback:

CPSO is looking for physicians who have experience using virtual care with their patients (this can be phone, video) and who are comfortable engaging in an open conversation with other physicians and patients. The aim is to learn from those who provide and receive virtual care to understand what a quality encounter looks like to both providers and patient, and support the College as it undertakes a review and update of its Telemedicine policy.
